The French company IMAGINE, was initiated in 1986 as result of a research on the hydraulic area and then latter specializing on modeling and simulation of complex engineering systems. Nowadays it’s has offices in the U.S. and distributors all over the world.
It’s main product is AMESim, with application on virtual systems
prototype creation, minimizing costs due to physic prototype construction
and at the same time maximizing the efficiency on parameters analysis.
One of
its partners is LASHIP
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems Laboratory, belonging to the Mechanical
Engineering Department of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Since
its creation, 20 year ago, it has been dedicated to studying pneumatic
and hydraulic component and systems and its applications.
