The KEOHPS mission is to provide computacional solutions, applying Artificial Intelligence Techniques, to the Hydraulics and Pneumatics market worldwide, KEOHPS activites also include training and consulting on techniques which improve the design process.

KEOHPS was created as a spin-off from a PhD project in mechanical engineering. The system has uniquely integrated three areas, i.e. Artificial Intelligence, Design Methodology and Fluid Power. This integration resulted in a system tested and validated by fluid power experts, from industry and academia, in Europe, United States and Brazil.

The system was also demonstrated at different events, such:

• EXPO 2000 em Hannover (July 2000).
  The work intitled Artificial Intelligence Applied to Fluid Power Design- An Integrating Approach, an overview of the project from which KEOHPS originated, was chosen to be part of the event Shaping the Future.

VISION:

With the improvement of its systems, including a version for pneumatics, KEOHPS seeks to attain a reference position in software for hydraulics and pneumatics.

We will focus on both national and world markets, developing consulting contracts to tailor our systems according to the needs of H&P components manufacturers.

The contracts will include customizing our systems to access component databases, publishing electronic catalogues or even, depending on demand, developing simulation modules for specific languages.

Our company participates in the main trade shows related to the area of H&P. Also we are investing in personnel improvement through a strong partnership with Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and LASHIP- Laboratory of Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems.
